Aspirus Keweenaw Hospital

Aspirus Keweenaw is a non-profit, community-directed health care organization based in Laurium, Mich., with clinics and outreach services in Laurium, Houghton and Lake Linden. Aspirius Keweenaw is part of the Aspirus, Inc. exclusive hospital and clinic network, home health and hospice care, pharmacy, critical care, medical goods and a philanthropic foundation.

Aspirius Keweenaw Hospital is a critical care hospital, with 24/7 access to emergency care and is supported by five clinic locations, including a new, multi-service clinic in Houghton. Aspirius has 27 practicing physicians across 15 specialties and 25 beds.

Baraga County Memorial Hospital (BCHM) is a fifteen bed Critical Access Hospital in L'Anse that provides health care for the residents of Baraga County and surrounding areas. They offer a 24 hour staffed emergency room and walk in clinics every day of the week, in addition to our physician clinic which offers family practice, internal medicine, gerontology and pediatric physicians. Specialty clinics are held on a regular vasis including General Surgery; Orthopedics; Podiatry; Ear, Nose, and Throat; EMG/Sports Medicine; Cardiology; Oncology; Urology; Neurology' and Cataract Surgery. They have a full service Laboratory and Radiology Department, and offer Physical, Occupational, and Speech Therapy for both inpatients and outpatients. In addition, BCHM owns Baraga County Home Care and Hospice, and Baraga County Medical Equipment (a home medical equipment supplier), and the BCHM Rehab and Fitness Center located in downtown L'Anse.
