Highways
The Keweenaw is served by two state highways- US 41 from the east and M-26 from the west.
Waterway
Houghton and Hancock have commercial docking along the Portage Waterway for deep water ships. The Potage Waterway connects to Lake Superior to the north and south.
Commercial Air Service
The Keweenaw has commercial air service to Chicago O'Hare airport with two daily flights on SkyWest United from the Houghton County Memorial Airport (CMX)
Rail
The Keweenaw is served by a branch line of the Canadian National Railway (CN) to L'Anse and Baraga and at the southern end of the Keweenaw Peninsula, as well as Escanaba and Lake Superior (E&LS) with track and sidings in the southern Houghton County.
